How Can I Tell If a Psychic is Real? Three Signs a Psychic is Authentic
How can I tell if a psychic is real? Is there any "proof" I can see before I visit or call? What are the sorts of things I should look for before hiring one? Do these questions seem to come up for you? If you are at all interested in psychic readings and the paranormal overall, they probably will! As a matter of fact, I can tell you, without any question....that even someone like myself who has had hundreds of readings, the question of credibility is a continuous one!
So what are the signs that a psychic is real?
I'm going to tell you a few things that may in fact be a departure from some of the "normal" advice you'll hear in this regard.....because my perspective IS in fact a little different!
The question I believe you SHOULD be asking is not only if they're REAL, but if they're RIGHT for you. (because there can be a distinction there that is important as well)
Let's look at 3 signs that a psychic is "real", and authentic, because this is obviously the most important thing to distinguish going in.
1 - A PROVEN Track Record of Successes (lots of satisfied clients, works with a reputable service or network or is legitimately credentialed on their own)
2- Does not PROMISE Things That Would be Impossible to Promise (no legitimate intuitive or medium will "promise" things that are out of his or her control. A good reading should be GUARANTEED to be good, but NO guarantee of specific resolutions should be made, simply because that's NOT the way things work in the ethereal realms..:-)
3 - No Outlandish Claims about Psychic Skills. Avoid cures, spells, healing's & other exotic phenomena that are hard to quantify going in. Look, there ARE in fact many intuitives with amazing abilities, and that can access "realms" that ordinary people simply can't.
But the more "over the top" the advertisement or promotion, the more unlikely it is that a reader is genuine. (in my experience) The most AMAZING and gifted psychics, mediums and clairvoyants are often the most humble, generous and modest...and this is something that I've found is a good barometer for a great reading as well.
One last thing......
Remember that a psychic must be right for YOU as well. Even the very BEST psychics, mediums and clairvoyants don't get it "right" 100% of the time. Your personality plays a part. A psychic "connection", in person, online or on the telephone is equally as important as the skill set the psychic innately possesses. So keep this in mind, go with your OWN intuition when choosing a psychic and enjoy yourself! (after all - a great reading is TONS of fun to boot!)
